Autodesk Land Desktop 2007 civil construction software

As technology has advanced and the challenges facing engineering organizations have become increasingly complex, we have decided it is time to look beyond Land Desktop to technology that better addresses the demands of today’s civil engineering organizations.

As a result, AutoCAD Land Desktop 2009 was the last release of Land Desktop.

Depending on your needs, Autodesk has several options for moving to the next generation of civil engineering and infrastructure software:

- AutoCAD® Civil 3D® software, the building information modeling (BIM) solution for civil engineering, helps project teams deliver higher-quality transportation, land development, and environmental projects faster.

- AutoCAD® Map 3D software provides direct access to data needed for infrastructure planning, design, and management activities. AutoCAD Map 3D helps professionals working on transportation, land development, water, and power projects to more easily create, manage, and analyze design, GIS, and asset data.

AutoCAD® Civil 3D® software, the building information modeling (BIM) solution for civil engineering, helps project teams design, analyze, and visualize projects more efficiently. With built-in tools for geospatial and stormwater analysis, quantity takeoff, and 3D visualization, civil engineers can explore what-if scenarios to help optimize performance before projects are built. Tools that support automated machine guidance aid in construction planning and project execution.

AutoCAD® Map 3D mapping software provides access to data needed for infrastructure planning, design, and management activities. It helps professionals working on transportation, land development, water, and power projects to more easily aggregate cadastral, utility, topographic, environmental, image, LIDAR, and asset data; better visualize and evaluate existing conditions; improve decision making by performing corridor, network, and site analysis; and exchange information with government agencies, utilities, and contractors in both CAD and GIS data formats.

  1. Hi, probably our entry may be off topic but anyways, I have been surfing around your blog and it looks very professional.

It’s obvious you know your topic and you appear fervent about it. I’m developing a fresh blog plus I’m struggling to make it look good,
as well as offer the best quality content. I have learned much at your web site and also I anticipate alot more articles and will be coming back soon. Thanks you.
